The ones we actually reached for were never the cheap ones that went thin and shapeless after three washes, and they were never the $140 ones either. They were the rare pieces that felt substantial, hung right, and still looked good a year later. There were almost none of them, and the ones that existed cost more than a week of groceries.
So we made them ourselves.

Every AVYN hoodie is cut from premium heavyweight fleece with a brushed interior. Heavyweight matters because it's what separates a hoodie that keeps its shape from one that doesn't — it drapes instead of clinging, the cuffs and hem hold their structure, and the colour stays where it started after repeated washing.
The fit is intentionally oversized. Not a size up from normal, but genuinely designed that way: a boxy body, dropped shoulders, and enough room to layer without the sleeves swallowing your hands. It's the fit you want for a cold lecture hall, a walk to class in October, or a weekend where getting dressed isn't the priority.

Premium oversized hoodies usually sit between $90 and $140, and most of that gap isn't fabric. It's wholesale margin, retail markup, and marketing budget. We sell directly, we keep the range tight, and we put the money into the weight of the fleece and the quality of the print instead. You are paying for the hoodie, not the supply chain around it.
Designs you'll actually wear twice
We design everything in-house — Lucky Bow, Disco Stars, Twin Flame, Pinned, Lucky Break, Daily Carry. The goal is always the same: something with a bit of personality that doesn't stop working after the first week. Cute, but not so loud you can only wear it once before everyone's seen it.
Each design comes in a full colour range, because the right hoodie in the wrong colour is still the wrong hoodie.
Fast shipping, from the US
We fulfil from the United States, so orders arrive in days rather than the two to four weeks that overseas brands quote. If you order for a specific date — the start of term, a birthday, a trip — it gets there.
Female-founded, still just the two of us
AVYN is female-founded and independent. There's no parent company and no outside investor telling us to cheapen the fabric to widen the margin. It's still the two of us choosing the fleece, approving the prints, and reading the emails.
